The Women For Change Run successfully transitioned the cause to end Gender Based Violence into a Virtual Race on Women’s Day, 9th August 2020. It has gained massive nationwide awareness and international support to end this other pandemic we are facing in our country.

3 700 Women, men and  children ran to say ‘Enough is Enough’

The incredible outcome of 3 700 participants sends a strong message worldwide, that South African women deserve better and change should prevail. From all corners of the country, runners and walkers were standing up and spreading the message. The Women For Change message was carried beyond South Africa’s borders, and many pledged their alliance worldwide. Runners in Australia, Nigeria, Germany, the UK, USA, Poland, Mexico and Switzerland joined in solidarity with women and children in South Africa to end the violence they endure.
