WFC seeks a passionate, reliable, and highly committed Community Manager
Location: Remote
Hours: Part-time, 3 hours per day (minimum 15hrs/week)
Compensation: This paid volunteer/student position is R5,000 per month.

Women For Change is urgently looking for a Community Manager for our social media channels. This person will play a significant role in managing our online community, providing empathetic support to survivors, and moderating social media interactions on all platforms.
This paid volunteer /student position is ideal for those looking to make a meaningful impact while gaining valuable experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide empathetic victim support to survivors via social media platforms.
- Manage and moderate comments to ensure a safe and respectful online community.
- Assist with content editing on social media.
- Research and partner with other GBV organisations for referrals
Requirements:
- Studying psychology or holding a certificate in counselling.
- Previous experience in victim support is highly desirable.
- Ability to dedicate 3 hours daily (totalling 15 hours per week)
- Must be reliable and able to commit to at least six months of work.
- Experience managing social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Deep passion for women’s advocacy.
- Highly committed to the mission and values of Women For Change.
